George Tziallas is a Civil Engineer (University of Patras, Greece) with a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning (M.Sc.) from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, USA.
During his twenty-five year professional career has been appointed to senior positions in management consulting firms, specializing in the fields of local and regional development, tourism development and planning, as well as in the management, monitoring and evaluation of EU Programmes and projects. He also served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Management Consulting Firms (SESMA).
George has extensive experience in spatial planning and in strategic/operational planning, as well as in business process re-engineering and in ICT projects, and has worked as Expert Consultant in the implementation of a large number of local and regional development studies, economic and tourism development studies, in education and training, in Greece and abroad.
He has been the project manager of large-scale technical assistance projects at national and EU level and has gained excellent knowledge of the Greek public administration procedures, as well as of the EU Structural Funds context.
