     First Adria Hotel Forum has been held in February 2013 and it has gathered Croatian and foreign experts discussing on potential developments and investments in hotel industry. Vice Presidents Development for the region of the two largest hotel management companies- InterContinental Hotels and Hilton Worldwide have also participated at the Forum. The second AHF, held in February 2014, gathered more than 50 panelists among whose was the VP regional Development Hyatt International and Director HVS London as well as some leading industry innovators.

In the years following the global economic recession, tourism destinations are once again evaluating their strategies for promoting visitation and interest in the travel. Although the instable in economy, it is projected that hotel investments in Europe will increase by 20% in reference to the previous year. New interesting destinations are to be developed and economies stroked with global crises are getting up at high speed.

During previous two editions, AHF panelists discussed trends in the tourism world, possibilities that Croatia has as well as elements that have to be changed in order for Croatia to become competitive for new investments. In 2015 AHF will focus on models that some destinations and countries have implemented to increase growth and investments and which of these can Croatia apply to compete at the international tourist market.
