Marina Franolic is founder of Proficiscor, tourism Development Company than includes projects Adria Hotel Forum and Adria Lux. Adria Hotel Forum is international hotel conference with the main theme “Investments in hotel industry” and Adria Luxury is brand for Exclusive concierge and provisioning services in the Adriatic, focusing on mega yacht and luxury villa clients.
Her career in tourism started in Glion Institute of Higher Education and Hotel Savoy, Rocco Forte group, in Florence. After returning to Croatia and prior to tourism projects, she was working on International project with USAID, EU education with Ministry of foreign affairs and then in the real estate development and architectural projects in one of the best known Croatian architectural offices, Randic and associates.
Rasti Nikolić is a co-founder of the Adria Hotel Forum and the Adria Luxury projects. Her career in tourism began on development and investment tourism projects in Istria and Croatia working for Investment Funds from UK. Rasti is dedicated, creative and self-motivated professional with 15+ years of experience in business development, investment and hospitality. Has proven success in managing all aspects of business operations; small and large scale projects within finance (budgeting, controlling, reporting), hiring, coordinating people and departments. Her strategical thinking and ability to solve challenges with innovative approaches gives her a possibility to improve business operation. Possesses a wide international business culture, excellent accomplishments and holds an MBA degree from an American Business School.
Dr. Sanja Čižmar
Dr. Sanja Cizmar is Senior Partner of Horwath HTL Zagreb, a member of the global leading hotel, tourism and leisure industry consulting group. Dr. Cizmar earned her PhD degree in strategic management of hospitality industry at Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb. Since 1997, Sanja Cizmar was Managing Partner of Horwath HTL Zagreb, and since 2011 Senior Partner. She is lecturer of hotel management at Faculty for Economics and Business in Zagreb, and author of several text books of tourism and hospitality management as well as numerous articles and columns in professional and scientific magazines.
Sanja has built her hospitality industry management and consulting experience in South East Europe working on consulting projects with leading hospitality companies over 20 years. She has been involved in over 400 projects including a wide range of project development assignments, coaching, asset management and hotel management contracting projects. Sanja has been actively involved in establishment and development of few regional hotel management companies. Focus of her expertise is oriented to the management of change, strategic management, and asset management in hospitality industry of South East Europe, helping the clients to drive improved performance and increase returns on their investments.
Kristian Šustar is the executive director of HUP Zagreb, a company whose facilities are at the center of the most important business, politic and sports events in both Zagreb and Croatia. HUP Zagreb has what it takes to become the axis that new architecture of the Croatian hotel industry will be developed around. Throughout new developmental projects, company strives to set the course for changes within national tourism.
His years-long experience is mostly in management positions within tourism-based companies (Maistra and Adriatic Luxury Hotels) that were in constant expansion dictating development trends within the industry with their business policies and positioning themselves to take over the role of managing with a transition model of tourism development determining the course of changes, initiating and stimulating high-quality developmental projects, and destination education through introduction of new trends. During his career he often carried out several functions simultaneously within certain companies.
In addition to Croatia, he has acquired his experience in a number of international projects. He has actively participated in the operation of local and county tourist boards for many years and is a member of the Croatian National Tourist Board Council. As of December 2009, he has been the President of the Association of Employers in Croatian Hospitality, the national association of hoteliers.
